2026 Season
Each season at For Youth By Youth (FYBY) Theatre reimagines theatrical works created for young audiences. We define “young people” broadly, from birth through age 24. Creativity does not have an age limit, so we hire artists of all ages. We believe in the value of the work behind the artwork. Every artist we collaborate with is paid for their time and talent.
Programs
Our programs bring theatre directly into communities, supporting artists of all ages and abilities. From in-school field trips and hands-on workshops to lively public story times, we partner with schools and organizations across the Chicago metropolitan area to spark curiosity, connection, and joy.
Classes
FYBY Theatre offers classes designed to nurture creativity at every stage of life. Our current offerings include professional development for teens and adults, as well as creative drama classes for our youngest artists, ages 3–6. Whether someone is taking their first step onstage or deepening their craft, we are here to help them grow.
